2019 Spring Clean Up Day

Posted on: May 12, 2019 9:00 pm

Spring Clean up Day will be held on Saturday, June 1st, from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Administration Building and Fire HQ on Morris Road. A perfect compliment to the recent Rock the Block, the day provides residents the opportunity to donate household items and dispose of debris and trash.

The Township will have at least 12 dumpsters on site for yard waste, tires, garbage, and debris.  Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati ReStore will be present collecting household items and construction material (see full list of acceptable items). Up to 9 passenger tires (dry and off rim) will be accepted from residents.

Residents and volunteers are needed for the day and help make Clean Up Day a success each year.  This is a perfect opportunity for church and school groups, families, and scout troops to help the community and accrue service hours. For those interested jobs include planting flowers, trash pick up in the two Township parks, set up, lunch detail, and registration. If interested in helping, please fill out the waiver and release form by May 20 to reserve a free t-shirt.

For those interested or for questions regarding the day please contact Chuck Goins via email at cgoins@fairfieldtwp.org or via phone at 513-785-2266.
