2024 Is Off to A GREAT Start

January 19, 2024

2023 was an INCREDIBLE year filled with hard work, great events, and efficient service to the amazing community of Fairfield Township. Much was accomplished throughout the year with highlights including the Veterans Memorial Dedication, increased Full Time Staffing in Safety Services, and the first ever Car Show and Concert. It is with this STRONG foundation that we move into 2024 with renewed energy and excitement!

January 2024 has been very productive with an Organizational Meeting, Board Meeting, FTZA Meeting, Chili Cook Off at Storypoint, Public Works handling two weather events, an annual planning meeting with our outstanding Butler County Engineer's Office, a strategic planning and SWOT analysis with staff, and finally, the swearing in ceremony for new Fairfield Township Fire Chief Ryan Berter.

Financially the Township is in a continued sound and strong financial condition, holding the Aa2 Bond Rating and a flourishing Cash Position and General Fund.  With carryover of $20 plus million dollars, we have stayed vigilant and responsible with taxpayer dollars under the direction of the Board of Trustees. This trend, with the help of steady and controlled economic development, will help maintain this financially sound bottom line.

Please watch for the 2023 Annual Report which will be shared soon.  In addition, follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and this website for events, meeting dates, hiring opportunities, paving updates, and more!

Thank you again to the Board of Trustees, staff, volunteers, and community partners who have helped us continue to grow, improve, and thrive! And with that said, don't forget that in 2024 "WE ARE JUST GETTING STARTED" and "ONE TEAM!"
