Posted on: April 10, 2018 12:00 pm

In an effort to help prevent accidental access or abuse of prescription medications Fairfield Township, in partnership with the Fairfield Prevention Coalition, is taking part in several important programs.  The first program will run concurrent with our annual Spring Clean-Up Day and also in cooperation with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).  We will host a National Take-Back Initiative Event during the clean up event which is on April 28th from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm. Drugs can be dropped off at the  Township Facilities n 6032 Morris Road.  A second program involves permanent locations which can be found on the Township website at www.fairfieldtwp.org.  Finally, a limited amount of drug disposal kits are available at the Township Police Department and Administration Building during normal business hours of 8 A.M.— 4:30 P.M.  The kits are first come first serve and only available while supplies last. Helping make you safer!
