Sidewalks
Residents are responsible for the normal wear and tear or age damage to sidewalks. The Fairfield Township Road Department does not repair or maintain any sidewalks within the Township.

Street Repair & Maintenance
The Fairfield Township Road Department is responsible for approximately 74 miles of roadway within the Township. Specifically, the Road Department repairs potholes, berms, and curbs.

Streetlights
The Fairfield Township Road Department is not responsible for the repair or maintenance of street lights. If you notice a street light out in the Township, please call CG&E at 651-4182. Be prepared to give your name, address, and the location of the street light which is out.

Signs
The Fairfield Township Road Department is responsible for repairing or replacing all street signs with the exception of the following roads:
1 - Princeton Road from Bypass 4 to Liberty Fairfield Road - Call the Butler County Engineer's Office (BCEO).
2 - Hamilton Mason Road from Five Points to Liberty Fairfield Road - Call BCEO.
3 - Tylersville Road from Five Points out - Call BCEO or the City of Hamilton for specifics.
4 - Canal Road from Greenwood Avenue to Headgates Road - Call BCEO.
5 - Headgates Road from Route 4 (Hamilton Middletown Road) to Canal Road - Call BCEO.
6 - Bypass 4 - Call the Cities of Hamilton and Fairfield, BCEO, and the State of Ohio.
7 - Liberty Fairfield Road from Canal Road to Hamilton Mason Road - Call BCEO.
8 - Route 4 (Hamilton Middletown Road) from Liberty Fairfield Road to Fair Avenue - Call the City of Hamilton and the State of Ohio.
9 - Route 129 (Michael A. Fox Highway) - Call the State of Ohio.
10 - Tuley Road from Alston Avenue to Bobmyer Road - Call the City of Hamilton.

Traffic Signal
If you see a traffic signal or light in the Township that is not working properly, please use one of the following methods to report the outage.
++ Call the Fairfield Township Administration Building at 887-4400.
++ Contact the Township Road Department at 887-4400, ext. 3663. When you call to report the problem, make sure you indicate the address of the traffic signal.
