Citizen Fingerprinting
The Fairfield Township Police Department provides citizen fingerprinting services to individuals applying for
positions that require background investigations.
We also happily provide fingerprinting services for other individuals and purposes
such as the following:
1 - Residents of Fairfield Township.
2 - Individuals applying for positions with companies and other organizations
located in the Township.
3 - Individuals applying for positions with the Fairfield City Schools or Butler Tech Vocational School.
We direct all other required fingerprinting services to your own local police agency.
Citizen fingerprinting is available at the Fairfield
Township Police Department, Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
The Police Department is located at 6485 Vonnie Vale Court.
Block
Party
The Fairfield Township Police Department has no requirements that residents obtain a permit to hold a block party in your neighborhood.
However,
we ask that residents observe the following suggestions:
1 - Notify the police department several days in advance of the block party.
Advise our department of the date, time, location, and neighborhood representative we can use as a contact person in the case of an
emergency.
2 - Do not block access to any streets by means of parked cars, cones, blockades, or anything of this nature. Emergency
equipment and life squad need access to all streets in response to a call.
3 - If a band or stereo is used for entertainment, the
music should stop or the volume turned down to a much quieter level by 10 P.M.
Neighborhood Watch
The Fairfield Township Police Department
has a Neighborhood Watch Program.
The program enlists the active participation of citizens in cooperation with law enforcement to
reduce crime in their community.
A network of neighbors are trained by crime prevention personnel on how to protect themselves
and their property.
In addition, citizens are trained how to serve effectively as additional eyes and ears for our department.
To schedule
a Neighborhood Watch Program for your neighborhood, contact Specialist Michael Oler at the Fairfield Township Police Department, 887-4406,
ext. 4258.
